Project Description:
The new build grandstand for Huntingdon Race courseprovides corporate facilities, changing areas for the jockeys and viewing and communication rooms for the press and the Tote. Each area had different servicing requirements. The kitchen area had to be of high corporate standards to provide exceptionally high level of catering.
The building was built within a flood plain area and flood deference design had to be incorporated. A further unusual factor with this project was that the building could not receive natural gas and therefore LPG had to be used which required careful consideration.
